Editorial Policy

Our Editorial Standards

Every piece of content on The Blessings Project is written with care by Sarah James. Nothing here is generated in bulk to fill a page. This page explains how content is created, sourced, and maintained, so you always know what to expect when you visit and can trust what you read.

How Content Is Written

  • Every article is written to be genuinely useful, not just a list of copy-and-paste lines, but content with real context on when to use it, who it is for and why it matters.
  • Blessings, prayers and messages are written or carefully chosen with the reader in mind, not just to fill space on a page.
  • Scripture references are cited with book, chapter and verse wherever they are used, so you can look them up yourself if you want to
  • Quotes and sayings are attributed accurately wherever possible. If a source cannot be verified, it is presented honestly as a traditional or common saying rather than credited to a person who may not have actually said it.
  • New topics are chosen based on what people are genuinely searching for and going through, not just what is easy to write about

How Topics Are Chosen

I try to write about the moments that people actually live through: a birthday, a hard season, a quiet morning, a new beginning. Before writing, I think about what someone in that exact moment would actually want to read or say, and I try to write something that holds up to that.

Scope and Honesty

This site is written from a personal, spiritually open point of view. It does not claim religious, theological, medical, legal, or counseling authority, and it never will. Content here is meant for personal encouragement and inspiration, not as a replacement for professional guidance. If a topic ever calls for expertise I do not have, I will say so clearly rather than pretend otherwise.

Updates and Corrections

Articles are reviewed and refreshed from time to time to keep them accurate and useful, not left to sit untouched for years. If you notice an error, a misquoted verse, an incorrect attribution, or anything else that does not look right, please let me know through the Contact page. I read every message myself and will correct genuine mistakes as soon as I can.

A Personal Commitment

This site is small, and I would rather it stay honest than grow fast. That means no fake reviews, no invented credentials, and no content published to chase search traffic. If something is on this site, it is because I believe it is genuinely worth someone’s time.
